Answer - Its a validation of our efforts in trying to achieve the highest levels of excellence in what we do
2. From National to International branding, mid-day Icons have gone bigger this year. What are your thoughts on this and how will it help in your branding?
Answer - We have curated a product that certainly stands out amongst the competition and this recognition certainly is encouraging enough to explore different markets within India, once we have re-consolidated our current operations.
3. How has your experience been with mid-day? What has been the change that you have seen post your association with it?
Answer - Mid-Day has been the core for local news across all mediums for the local Mumbaikar and being associated with this award has certainly elevated our Brand and the its presence in the market.
4. What do you think are the redeeming features of your services that sets you apart from the rest?
Answer - Our product line which covers the Pan Asain cuisine extensively, in a fuss free environment and making it affordable to one and all is certainly our USP.
5. The Pandemic situation was a blow on the travel and hospitality services. How did you manage to stay afloat?
Answer - The co-operation of our landlords, the team (our staff) and our vendors was the key to survive this epidemic. Besides, we ofocurse explored other revenues channels through delivery models and extensive cost cutting exerises were other factors that all helped us survive.
6. What have been the challenges and triumphs (if any) that the Pandemic has posed for your sector which according to you will have a lasting effect?
Asnwer - Change in eating habits and lifestyle changes are attributes that we now have to adapt in our product offerings. Morewever, the pandemic has also opened new avenues to generate secondary revenue models through cloud brands through our existing kitchens and has opened new and innnovative channels of marketing through digital platforms which are more guest engaging.
7. Do you think you have achieved your vision or is there more to achieve—your future goals?
Answer - I think the visions and goals today are different from what they were pre-covid times. Today, we want to create a model which is lean, resilient and easy to adapt to any new such situations that may arise again.
8. Your success mantra?
Answer - Product is always the Star and will always survive.
